Poor taste in music

So a man (of ethnic persuasion) travelling from Durham to London gets arrested for listening to the Clash’s “London Calling”,

WTF, come on! what stoopid fuck in their right mind would blab to the police that they think someone might be a terrorist because of the particular lyrrics in that song, and even worse, the police actually act on it and interview the guy for 3 hours.

I swear to god, you couldn’t make this stuff up

UK ID Cards are on the way then

I see with interest  in Gordy Browns latest budget fudget, that the budget for homeland security is increased massively to £2bn……………………….

2 things about this strike me straight away,

1. I didn’t even know that the UK had anything called Homeland Security
2. The ID Card scheme is coming

Still it’s not all bad, I took my latest project because the client is heavily involved in smart-card technology and security, figuring that if ID cards did come to the UK, it would set me up nicely with the right skills and experience to work on the ID card project.
